About Demo Mode
All AI processing currently runs in demo mode using local Sharp image transformations — no external API calls, no Replicate billing required. The visual improvements are real (sharpening, upscaling, lighting correction) but are applied with Sharp instead of a full AI model. To enable production AI models (Real-ESRGAN, Clarity Upscaler, etc.), set AI_PROVIDER=replicate and add a REPLICATE_API_TOKEN in your environment. The codebase is wired and ready — no code changes needed.
